The office is the best sitcom ever, even better than F.R.I.E.N.D.S. This is full of comedy and as a best comedy sitcom there are many best comedy scenes and cringe comedy also. There are lot of scenes which impact on you and which you want to remember. However, there are many scenes which you want to forget, for example- Dinner Party Episode. (The cringiest episode of entire series)
But have you noticed the funniest and scariest scenes of the office? You can agree with me on funniest episode or scene but many of you would be trying to remember which could be the scariest scene of the office because we know the office was just about comedy.
But there was scariest scene, let me recall for you the funniest and scariest scenes of the office-
THE FUNNIEST SCENE OF THE OFFICE
Have you remembered the opening scene of Episode 6, Season 7? It was “When Stanley didn’t notice”, episode name was “Costume Contest”. Stanley is considered as the person who does not pay attention to anyone’s activities especially to the cring things of Michael Scott. And Stanley also don’t like Michael Scott too much due to Michael’s continuous efforts to get everyone’s attention. Stanley always busy either to his puzzle book or to his work but mostly to his puzzle word book.
So one day at office, when Andy Bernard was showing something to Jim on his computer, and Jim was near Stanley, he put his orange juice cup on the table, Stanley took the cup thinking that coffee and sipped from it, Jim got surprised, and said to camera man “is there no limit to what he won’t notice?”
Then, Office employees decided to get attention of Stanley, Kevin dressed like Phyllis and Andy sat without Shirt but with Tie. Everyone waiting when Stanley would notice. but Stanley was busy with his puzzle book, Stanley asked what is the seven letters word for purse, Kevin answered and Andy answered, Stanley saw them but still he did not care what were they wearing.
Jim covered his laptop with a box but he didn’t notice.
Michael came in his way with weird teeth but he didn’t pay attention.
Office Employees then decided to call a meeting in conference room and sat in opposite direction but Stanley came and sit in right direction with his face towards the face of employees.
In meeting, Michael announced that Office's sale in mars got high everyone clapped but Stanley didn’t even hear what actually Michael was saying.
But he knows what is the time of getting off the office and noticed when office employee made clock slow, he saw the clock and stood up to go home, when he was going, Pam greeted him with mustache, Stanley greeted him back but didn’t pay attention to her mustache.
Dwight was with a mule, he greeted him “Night”, but Stanley didn’t notice to them, and got out from office. And left everyone watching him out.
This whole scene is about circumstantial comedy, there was no dialogue comedy and only have 3-6 words dialogue, but the circumstance in which office employees appear and try to get attention of Stanley, it creates laughter for us. This is one of the best comedy scene according to me. I watched it 5 times and every time it tickled me.
THE SCARIEST SCENE OF THE OFFICE
It is possible if you would have many scenes on your fingers which according to you are funny scenes. But only some persons may count scary and emotional scenes.
This was the 11-12 episode of season 7, episode name was 'Classy Christmas'. PPC (party planning committee) was preparing for party, and it was snowing when Jim said “hey, it is snowing”. But as usual Dwight protested by saying “it’s the first snowfall of Christmas…it’s not real snow, it’s dusting, it’s pitiful.”
Jim went down and came with a big snow ball, and threw it on Dwight. (this was actually mistake of Jim) and it was pitiful when everyone laughed in spite of being angry to Jim.
How could Dwight tolerate that insult? Being insulted, first he asked Jim to apologize but when Jim refused to do it, Dwight challenged him for snow fight and Jim accepted it. (Again, this was Jim’s grave mistake and later he regretted this decision)
Jim went down for snow-fight but before he could understand anything, Dwight emerged from a snow man and attacked Jim with snow ball and wounded him. According to Jim “he kept throwing them until he exhausted himself.”
As Jim also accepted the snow fight and attack was so sudden so he could not say anything to him and neither saved himself from sudden attack.
Again, Dwight attacked him by snow ball and Jim could not save himself and during whole party he scared and tried to escape from Dwight. He even showed Dwight “white flag” to surrender himself but Dwight did not accept his surrender.
And at the end, when it
was the time to go home and Jim and Pam came down, there were many snowmen.
This was really a scariest scene when someone attacking you again and again during whole day and at night you see many snowmen and you don’t know from which attacker would emerge and attack you. This was also the first and last time when we saw a scared Jim, he was really frightened by seeing snowmen. But Pam encouraged him to go and with the help of Pam, Jim tries to pass but he could not resist himself and started to attack snowmen in frenzy.
However, Dwight was not in any of that snowmen but he was seeing them both from the roof.
That time, Dwight said true words to cameraman 'you don’t need to attack a person, just create the fear in the heart'
In this whole situation, however, it was the mistake of Jim who attack on Dwight, he should not do so. When he attacked Dwight, viewers also felt bad because Dwight did not do anything. But whatever it was, this scene marked as a scary scene of the office. And people also consider this episode as the violent and saddest episode of the office.
Thus, these were the funniest and scariest scenes of the office. Coincidentally, both scenes were from season 7.
